Von alumni who have received the alumni directory during the week of May 17-21, 2010.
Things are not always what they seem……
Due to a computer glitch, the 2010 VSAA Directory showed everyone’s graduation date as 4 years later than the actual date.
Please forgive the error, and subtract 4 years from the date shown in the Class column for the actual graduation date.
(Note: The graduation date for the three “late additions” is correct as originally printed.)

Welcome to all the Von Steuben Alumni who have received this newsletter. It means that you are part of a high school alumni association that is among the most active and productive in all of Chicagoland.
2009 has been a busy year for our Alumni Association. We again administered a scholarship program for 4th year students at Von, and evaluated over 100 applications for various scholarships. These scholarships include family-sponsored awards in memory of alumni who have passed away, individual class-sponsored awards, and alumni association-sponsored awards in academic fields. In all we awarded 14 scholarships totaling $30,600. Of the total, $20,000 was provided from the Alumni Association; the rest from private family donors or class donors.
